The Forum was participated by over 22 International experts from about 14 Countries in addition to about 90 Chinese Participants. About 30 presenters presented papers and speeches.
The Event was organized by Biomass Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Center of Beijing University of Chemical Technology under the advisory of Rural Energy and Environment Agency, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center, Ministry of Ecology and Environment of People’s Republic of China with an aim of promoting bioenergy for better world.
During the Plenary session the representatives from World Bioenergy Association (WBA), Approvecho Research Center (ARC), Ministries and Provincial government of PRC,China Agriculture University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology Directors presented their works on promotion of clean burning technologies. WBA presented about the scope of Bio-energy referencing, what has been done so far harnessing biomass for clean energy.

During the Keynotes Presentations Sessions presentations from invited representatives from different countries and one Belt and Road initiative for clean energy including clean burning technology manufacturers based in China. It was an honour to present about the clean cooking offer on behalf of Practical Action and talk about some of the ongoing clean cooking initiatives in Nepal and Bangladesh.
Pic 3: During the event, The Belt and Road Alliance was launched
on 21st October, the participants had an opportunity to participate in a site visit to Yangxin city in Shandong province of China. The visits included a presentation at the New Energy Group that produces pellets and briquettes of various qualities, a KWB boiler installation at a nearby school, households utilizing improved biomass cookstoves, biomass heating for a chemical industry and a biogas facility that injects biomethane to the natural gas grid.

The sight seeing is worth mentioning here. I visited China the fourth time. I observed Forbidden City the second time after 7 years. Was amazed by the flow of the people there.
